9: The love edition
Love. It’s complicated.
We’ve got all kinds of beliefs and feelings about it - especially when it comes to loving ourselves and our perception of our ability to love and be loved.
Are they true? Are they serving us? Are any of them lies we’ve accepted as truth? What is society’s role in nurturing our relationship with love?
Is there a better way that would have us living more authentically and deeply - with ourselves and with others?
Is it possible for us to make peace with the parts of ourselves that we don’t like? The parts of us that we’re ashamed of? The parts of us that feel unlovable? Is there a way to maybe actually love these parts of ourselves?
Is it possible to develop true self-love? …Unconditional self-love?
In this episode, the shit we need to talk about is:
Your beliefs about love are learned and therefore can be unlearned!
Grumbling is like a little gremlin that actively steals your joy and sucks you dry of love and compassion.
There is not one relationship out there that you must endure for the sake of “love”.
Self-love cannot exist without an acceptance of all parts of you.
Jump in for inquiries, mindset reframes, and practices for support on your journey towards a self-love based on deep understanding and pure acceptance.
